We spend a lot of time just hanging out in our front lawn...which is effectively our entire lawn, as we are on a corner lot. Since it's church property, the church has people water & trim & weed & essentially keep up with all exterior maintenance, so the lawn is always lush & trimmed & the flowers are beautiful. It's nice & relaxing to play - and Simon loves to watch the zoomy cars & trucks & buses go by, as we're on a relatively busy street. For Labor Day weekend we did a lot of silly game-playing in our yard and just enjoying the sunshine. We had an optimism that Adam would be starting work the day after Labor Day, so we took advantage of the opportunity to hang out & relax for the long weekend together before he would be gone every day at work.
Simon loves to hold Anson - such a proud & loving big brother! And now that Anson's sturdier as a 3.5 month old, we actually let Simon hold him without our help (for short periods of supervised time with soft surroundings, of course.)
Hugs for Mommy
I love my little men!
