Evidently there's a prospective buyer on our house. They are first-time buyers and recently had a house prospect fall through, so they currently are a little timid about acting on something (they lost money on the inspection & appraisal & stuff). Our house is their favorite though; top of their list.
Can it get worse than that? Can it get better? Seriously, that's probably the best and simultaneously worst news we, as home sellers, can get. Someone really really wants our house, but won't move on it right now. Argh
Our agent in Silver City had this advice for me: "just relax about it for a little while." Not only is that a true-to-Silver-City-vibe kind of comment, it only lasts me about 3 seconds, and then I get anxious again.
So today I decided to DO something to help me feel more relaxed in my current situation. I moved in a little more. By this I mean I unpacked a few more boxes, sorted out a few things that are fun/useful in the present, and repacked the stuff that's not needed anytime soon. It helped. I have a project now...and a hallway FULL of boxes - some coming in, some going out. So now the Silver City house is still very much on my mind, but it's a little further back. Behind the boxes in my hallway. :)
