Simon has a book with a mirror that is all about different faces for different emotions. Making faces is now a routine game for us. "Simon - make an angry face. Shy face. Surprised face. Sad face. Happy face. Silly face." etc. He makes up some faces too - see what you can ID.
The one that looks like a chicken is actually supposed to be hands on the hips with a determined face. We got "determined" from the book "Are You My Mother?" where the baby bird is determined to find his mother and says, with that expression, something to the effect of: "I DID have a mother. I will find her - I will!"
And here are a few Anson faces too. He doesn't know the book yet, so he has a smaller repertoire.
