Critter Barn Next Door

Living next door to a church, we get to walk over every time they have a fun event. Through some connection, they got a local "Critter Barn" to come & bring a whole slew of animals for kids to look at & touch & play with & milk. Grandpa Gerry & Grandma Lizzy came over with pizza to share, and Grandma Jan (Adam's mom) came too. After a quick dinner, we walked over to the farm next door.

Simon & Grandpa checking out the sheep. Since this day, Simon's been singing "Baa baa black sheep have you any white wool?"
Quacking critters
Only my tenderhearted little boy is nervous about the fluffy floppy angora bunnies. Sweet kid.
Adam & Anson checking out the goats. It was odd to see so many kids thinking it was a novelty to have critters like chickens & ducks & goats...because in Silver City some of our best friends had these animals for eggs & milk & meat. So while all the kids were waiting in line to milk the goat, we just walked by. Culture shift from Silver City to Grand Rapids city!
