Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ
My parents sang "I Was There to Hear Your Borning Cry," just like they did when they flew down to NM when Simon was baptized.
Adam and I read a statement/commitment we wrote. We read the same thing to Simon when he was baptized.
I'm giving Anson a kiss on the head; he's eying the Smarties my parents are doling out to big brother in the front row. Soon after this, Anson squirmed out of Adam's arms, ran & got a Smartie from Grandpa, and came back.
Pastor Doug presenting Anson to the congregation.
The sacrament of baptism
After church & fellowship, we all came over to my parents' house (around the block from church) for dinner and more fellowship.
Thanks to the wonders of Facebook, my aunt was able to come too! We cherish her love & commitment & prayers.
The VanDorens and the Langes...missing the Connoleys. Anson lost his vest after lasagna, but is proudly sporting his monkey shirt.
A little nativity love...
Post-dinner quiet time with a video at Grandma & Grandpa's. Such a lovely day! Welcome, Anson, to the family of God.
