We made it! Grandma Lizzy, Mom (Bethany), Simon & Anson arrived at the Grand Rapids airport sometime in the wee morning hours of July 1st.
The next day we had dinner with TWO Grandmas...first time that's happened in a long time, but probably not the last for an even longer time.
Grandma Jan brought a custard-filled angelfood cake. Simon devoured it.
Snuggle time for Anson with Grandma Lizzy. So nice to be able to do this and know that there will be much more of it in the days, weeks, YEARS to come since we'll be local. Relaxing to snuggle and know that we don't have any more big traveling adventures anytime in the near horizon!
