When I got home from grocery shopping it was a bit of a frenzy in the kitchen. Both boys were hungry for lunch (as was I) but I had several things that went in the freezer or fridge and it was 80+ degrees. At one point Anson grabbed a six-pack of yo-baby yogurt (which he LOVES) and took off with it. Somehow I didn't notice this. He threw the whole thing in the recycle bin, which is where the cups go after the yogurt is eaten & the cup is rinsed out. My little recycle baby.
It's amazing what lessons kiddos learn just by watching. I remember not long ago when we used disposable diapers on Anson due to travel or diaper rash or something. Simon watched us change a diaper & throw it away. "Diapers don't go in the trash!" he was incredulous. I explained to him that usually they don't, but we were using a different kind that could only be used once, and wasn't that silly? He was mystified. To think! A diaper that couldn't just be washed & used again!
