going to Festival or celebrating a holiday. These photos are just a
quick sample of moments at home.
The first is Simon reading Eric Carle to me - I believe it was The
Lonely Firefly. The second is Simon crashed on the couch yesterday.
He had a bit of a fever & slept most of the day, wherever he landed.
The next two are Anson talking on his "phone" -- the bottle opener
gadget he pulled off the fridge. Creative, silly kid.
These are the moments that capture the kids - quiet ones, sick ones,
silly spontaneous ones. I'm amazed that simply being attentive and
responding to my kids every day is enough to feel like I'm employed
full time. And, as much as they drive me batty sometimes, I wouldn't
have it otherwise.
